Dining Chairs by Gio Ponti

Set of Six Dining Chairs (model 969) designed by Gio Ponti in 1969, and produced in 1970 by Montina, Italy. The chairs are the final iteration of a design that Ponti first imagined for a private commission in 1931. Ponti varied his own design in 1936, 1949, and finally in 1969. The chairs are crafted from beech wood, and finished in original white lacquer. The seats have been newly upholstered in sea-foam coloured Italian velvet.
