Exceptional Cocktail Cabinet designed by Ernesto Valabrega for Fratelli Valabrega, Turin, Italy, 1930s. Crafted from richly grained oak, the cabinet’s façade is framed by a copper-coloured mirrored surround that adds warmth and depth. At its centre, a beautifully patterned oak door conceals an illuminated bar, which opens to reveal a mirrored interior. On either side, additional doors open to reveal a series of glass shelves, providing elegant storage for glassware and bottles. The trunk of the cabinet features a carved wave motif—a signature design element of Valabrega—that introduces a sense of tactile dynamism. The piece is anchored by a solid wood base distinguished by its finely executed punched-texture carving.
